Cerclos Development Roadmap

Current focus

Our current focus for this Quarter:

  • User Experience: Updated UI to simplify our design experience and add more functionality to our Library systems.
  • Dataset Diversity: We’re working to add new datasets and diversify our existing data, adding more options for users to build their models and report to rating schemes. This includes an easier way to add impact overrides where required.

Roadmap

Target Windows are expressed in quarters (Q#) corresponding to standard Calendar Year. They are indicative only and are subject to change at anytime based on user/customer feedback, business requirements or changes in regulator/statutory requirements.

UI/UX UI Update – Template Library Grids UI In progress 2026 Q1

Faster browsing with improved classification and filtering functionality; reduces time to locate templates.

This new layout will also include an expandable hierarchical format for templates, making it easier to review the constituent materials, EPDs and other templates.

UI/UX UI Update – Design UI In progress 2026 Q1 Cleaner layout and inline editing to reduce clicks and improve onboarding; Clearer design hierarchy and nested template navigation.
Performance Modular (Compiled) Impact Engine In progress 2026 Q2 Faster Impact calculations speeds, meaning a general improvement in overall app performance.
Application User Definable Custom Fields In progress 2026 Q2

Set multiple user-definable custom fields to add user or organisation specific data or unique identifiers to key objects in eTool like:

    – Projects

    – Structures

    – Designs

    – Design Functions

  • Templates

Easily classify the different elements of your projects to match your other data management systems, simplifying project management and data interchange between systems.

Application Adaptive Scenario Modelling In planning 2026 Q2

Choose whether to clone your design or just represent the differences as you build your scenarios. This flexibility will allow changes to scenario designs further up the tree to ,

Analysis Tools Side-by-side Scenario Comparison  In planning 2026 Q2

This feature will expand the capability of our Scenarios view to allow users to perform A/B comparisons of Scenarios in a side-by-side view.

Application Flexible QA/QC System In Planning 2026 Q3

Provides user guidance, feedback and alerts to help users quickly identify modelling, regionalisation and data issues, meet the selected standards methodology and reporting outcomes.

This will include in-app alerts and a report module that can be added to standard reports.

This will also extend to data imports and future integrations.

Reporting Report Builder  In planning 2026 Q3 New report builder for pre-set and custom automatic reports with PDF, XLSX and CSV exports.
UI/UX Presentation Layer – Unit Conversion In planning 2026 Q3 Per-user or per-project unit preferences (qty, distance, energy, etc). This includes Imperial measurements.
Integration Bentley Systems – iTwin  In planning 2026 Q4 Connect iTwin/OpenBuildings quantities and metadata to automate the import of take offs, reduce rework and user error.
Integration API Functionality  In planning 2026 Q4 Expanded REST endpoints and webhooks to automate customer specific data synchronisation.
Integration IFC Format Import  In planning 2026 Q4 Robust IFC import with property mapping and classification to automate the import of take offs, reduce rework and user error.

Data 2050 Materials Integration In planning 2026 Q2

Thanks to a recent partnership with 2050 Materials, we hope to be able to offer a wider array of EPDs and regionalised generic datasets very soon.

2050 Materials are specialists in gathering, harmonising and transforming product and sustainability data. This relationship will allow us to expand our existing datasets to include their long list of curated product-specific and generic materials data and give users more options when it comes to choosing products and materials.
